Recently, Urban Kid 1 learned about Paul Cezanne at Art class. The specific piece they looked at was Still Life With Apples.
They then took orange and apples halves and used them as stamps for their own creations:

Next time you can have them paint with icing colors- those Wiltom pastes. Of course, that DOES stain your skin all kinds of lovely colors.
