Hey, U-Mom. A woman picked Twilight for my book club, and I thought about skipping it, but because of how much you and June have talked about it/Edward, I decided to give it a go. (I should mention that my 19 yr old sister read it and told me I probably wouldn't like it bc it's very tween.) Anyway, I get the Edward/sexy/dark & mysterious thing. For me it was the writing. I'm an adult (technically) and am used to "more", you know? The whole time I'm wanting them to just DO IT ALREADY... but it's a book for "kids" and BAH! it just wasn't gonna happen. Anyway, Like you've said "love/hate, we're such chicks, shameful"! I have New Moon, but haven't cracked it yet. I'll get to it eventually. Meanwhile, I'm happy to look at pictures of R-Patz. (Thanks for the comments, BTW.)
